College tour💫💫

 Our college tour was a remarkable journey that blended adventure, education, and personal growth. Over several days, we explored breathtaking destinations, engaged in enriching activities, and strengthened bonds that will last a lifetime. Each location had something unique to offer, making the experience truly unforgettable.


Wayanad: A Gateway to Nature’s Wonders

Our first stop, Wayanad, was a mesmerizing blend of adventure and natural beauty. Nestled in the Western Ghats, the region greeted us with lush greenery and refreshing mountain air. We began our exploration at Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India, where the vast reservoir and rolling hills created a picture-perfect setting. The serene atmosphere was a refreshing escape from our daily routines.


After soaking in the dam’s scenic charm, we visited a rose garden, a delightful paradise filled with vibrant flowers in full bloom. The colorful display and fragrant air made it a peaceful retreat. We then gathered for a hearty lunch, relishing the flavors of the local cuisine while sharing laughter and stories with our friends.


Mysore: A Journey Through History and Culture

Next, we traveled to Mysore, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and historical significance. Our first stop was St. Philomena’s Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece that left us in awe with its neo-Gothic grandeur. The towering spires and intricate stained-glass windows transported us to another era.


We then visited the iconic Mysore Palace, a stunning example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. As we walked through its opulent halls, we marveled at the exquisite paintings, intricate carvings, and regal chandeliers. The grandeur of the palace provided a glimpse into the city’s royal past.


Our final stop in Mysore was the enchanting Brindavan Gardens, a sprawling landscape of lush lawns, vibrant flowerbeds, and beautifully illuminated fountains. As night fell, we watched the mesmerizing musical fountain show, where water danced in sync with rhythmic melodies, creating a magical ambiance.


Goa: Sun, Sand, and Unforgettable Moments

Goa was the highlight of our tour, offering a perfect mix of relaxation and excitement. We kicked off our time there with a visit to Calangute Beach, where the golden sands and crashing waves set the tone for a fun-filled day. Some of us played beach volleyball, while others simply soaked up the sun or took a dip in the sea.


The evening brought an exhilarating DJ event, where we danced under the starlit sky, celebrating the joy of the trip. The lively beats, neon lights, and boundless energy made it a night to remember.


The following day, we explored Aguada Fort and Sinquerim Fort, both standing as testaments to Goa’s colonial history. The breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea from the forts added to their allure. Our exploration continued in Old Goa, where we admired the historic churches and charming streets that spoke volumes about the region’s Portuguese influence.


To conclude our Goan adventure, we indulged in some shopping near the beach, picking up souvenirs, handicrafts, and trinkets to commemorate our journey.


The Joy of the Journey

The bus rides between destinations were an experience in themselves. As we traveled through picturesque landscapes, we played games, sang songs, and had endless conversations. The camaraderie among us made the long journeys feel short and filled every moment with laughter and joy.

As we returned to college, we found ourselves reminiscing about the incredible experiences we had. The tour was more than just a trip—it was a journey of discovery, learning, and friendship. We not only explored new places but also grew as individuals, stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing new adventures.

Teaching practice phase I

  Week 1: (25-09-2024 to 27-09-2024) The first phase of my teaching practice commenced this week at D.V.M.N.N.M. HSS Maranalloor , marking the beginning of an exciting and insightful journey. I was assigned to teach Classes 8B and 8F under the guidance of Jayasree teacher. As I stepped into the classroom on the first day, a mix of excitement and nervousness filled me. However, as I introduced myself to the students, I could sense a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which helped me ease into the role of a teacher. To establish a good rapport with the students, I took time to interact with them, understand their learning styles, and create a comfortable learning environment. Induction days

 Stepping into the class as a teacher was a new experience for me. The students greeted us with a mixed emotion of curiosity as well as happiness. I along with my friends Greeshma and Mekha was under the guidance of Priyalatha ma'am at New Higher Secondary School Nellimood. The induction programme lasted for five days. The first two days were the observation days and we were asked to observe the class and study how to manage the students and the techniques that should be incorporated while taking the classes. And for the next three days we were assigned to take the classes and we taught the kids the chapter Rosa Parks sat Still.
