Conscientization programme

 As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, a conscientization program was conducted for 8th-grade students on the **impact of junk food on health**. The session aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of excessive consumption of processed and fast foods. Students were introduced to the nutritional deficiencies in junk food, such as high levels of unhealthy fats, sugars, and artificial additives, which contribute to obesity, diabetes, heart diseases, and other lifestyle disorders. Interactive activities, including discussions, presentations, and visual demonstrations, were used to engage students effectively. Real-life case studies and comparative charts of healthy and unhealthy eating habits helped reinforce the message. Yoga session

 As part of my B.Ed teaching practice, I conducted a yoga session for 8th-grade students, focusing on the importance of physical and mental well-being. The session aimed to introduce students to the benefits of yoga, including improved concentration, flexibility, and relaxation. I explained the significance of yoga in daily life and how it contributes to overall health. The students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the session, eager to learn and practice the postures correctly.   During the session, I taught two fundamental asanas: Padmasana and Tadasana. I first demonstrated each posture, explaining the correct technique, benefits, and precautions to be taken while performing them. Padmasana, a meditative pose, helps in calming the mind and improving posture, while Tadasana, the mountain pose, enhances body alignment and balance.
