Yoga session

As part of my B.Ed teaching practice, I conducted a yoga session for 8th-grade students, focusing on the importance of physical and mental well-being. The session aimed to introduce students to the benefits of yoga, including improved concentration, flexibility, and relaxation. I explained the significance of yoga in daily life and how it contributes to overall health. The students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the session, eager to learn and practice the postures correctly.

During the session, I taught two fundamental asanas: Padmasana and Tadasana. I first demonstrated each posture, explaining the correct technique, benefits, and precautions to be taken while performing them. Padmasana, a meditative pose, helps in calming the mind and improving posture, while Tadasana, the mountain pose, enhances body alignment and balance. The students practiced both asanas under my guidance, and I ensured they maintained proper posture and breathing techniques. The session concluded with a brief discussion on incorporating yoga into their daily routine for a healthy lifestyle.
